In 2024, the Russian Navy will receive about 50 ships and support vessels, according to Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Viktor Yevtukhov.
According to him, in 2023, the domestic fleet received 32 ships.
It is clear that there are not only warships, but also supply ships, and others. About 50 are planned for this year. That is, we are increasing the pace. These are not only submarines, corvettes, frigates, small missile ships, there are also support vessels. But this is for the fleet.
Yevtukhov added that Russia has achieved complete import substitution in the construction of ships for the Navy. According to him, if 20 years ago the delivery of each ship was exotic, now it happens regularly.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a group of Russian warships will conduct exercises in Cuba. The maneuvers will take place from June 12 to 17.
