According to Vladimir Zykov, Yandex is one of the few companies that can implement such a project in the short term.

They have a video section, it is quite large, with its own video recommendations. Yandex has all the necessary parameters to do this.

The ban on Youtube has been mentioned more than once, but so far no action has been taken. At the same time, State Duma deputy Anton Gorelkin unequivocally spoke about the possible blocking of the foreign platform.

A sovereign Runet is impossible while the American video hosting service maintains a monopoly. And if the situation does not change, a difficult decision will have to be made.

About Rutube's Prospects

Rutube has been operating in Russia since 2006, but it gained popularity in 2022. Users are gradually mastering the platform, but so far it is less popular than Youtube.

The main disadvantages of Russian video hosting:
