The revived VOLGA brand cars (rebadged Changans) were shown at the exhibition in Nizhny Novgorod on May 21. Since then, industry experts have been trying to predict how much cars with a deer on the hood might cost, as there are no official prices yet.
According to Alexander Kovalev, press secretary of GC "Expocar", the VOLGA C40 sedan may be priced from 2.2 million rubles to 2.7 million rubles, the VOLGA K30 crossover may cost from 2.5 million rubles to 3 million rubles, and the price of the D-class crossover — VOLGA K40 — may reach 3.6 million rubles.
A slightly smaller price range was named by auto expert Igor Morzharetto. In his opinion, VOLGA can push other manufacturers if it offers customers an interesting price offer.
The price may be in the range of 2.5 – 3 million rubles. Or even a little less…
The editor-in-chief of the magazine "Za Rulem", Maxim Kadakov, believes that the cost of VOLGA cars will start from 2.5 million rubles or even a little less, like the LADA Aura model.
