The state company Avtodor has announced the introduction of seven season tickets for travel on the M-12 Vostok highway starting today. Since the opening of the toll road in December 2023, the company has been constantly monitoring and analyzing traffic flows from Moscow to Kazan, including free alternative routes (M-7 Volga highway). The company's decision to launch a season ticket system was made taking into account the opinions of motorists.
Purchasing a season ticket will save from 15 to 20% on each trip. For example, a season ticket for 20 trips on the Sergach (Nizhny Novgorod Region) - Shumerlya (Chuvash Republic) route for cars of the 1st tariff group will cost 4930 rubles, and for the 2nd category - 8560 rubles, which is 20% lower than the established tariff. The cost of travel on this route was reduced by 4% on April 23.

After the introduction of season tickets, the company will conduct an additional analysis of their use in order to better meet the needs of users of the M-12 Vostok highway and maintain a balance of interests of all road users.
It should be noted that during the May holidays, the M-12 Vostok highway was used more than 1 million times. In total, 8.8 million trips have been recorded since the road opened in December. Many choose the highway as a route, including for tourist trips. All directions are popular. The construction of the highway to Yekaterinburg and the development of the surrounding infrastructure are ongoing. 18 multifunctional zones have already been opened, and another 10 are in various stages of readiness. A total of 32 MFZs are planned to be opened between Moscow and Kazan.
