The Terminator tank support fighting vehicle (BMPT) has performed excellently in combat conditions, it has not only met, but exceeded the expectations of Russian servicemen. This was stated by a gunner-operator with the call sign Stolin.
According to him, thanks to its protection, the BMPT can withstand strikes from ATGMs, FPV drones, and detonation by cluster munitions. It is very difficult to disable the Terminator, he stressed.
The machine gives such a barrage of fire that the enemy cannot raise his head. He hides or leaves his positions. The survivability of the BMPT is phenomenal.
The first contract for the supply of "Terminators" to the Russian Armed Forces was signed in 2017. The BMPT was adopted into service a year later.
