The Russian military has tested a domestic strike kamikaze boat. The unmanned boat (BEC) is being developed by the "There Beyond the Fogs" team of designers from the Tula region. They are supported by the regional government and the Ministry of Defense, the exact location of the enterprise is classified.
The boat received inertial and satellite navigation systems. The basic operating range is 250 kilometers, but it can be increased if larger fuel tanks are installed.
The power of the warhead is 250 kg in TNT equivalent. In the future, the developers plan to increase it to 350 kg.
The base for the drone is supposedly the GRK-700 Vizir naval drone. Its water-jet engines are capable of accelerating the boat to 85 kilometers per hour.
