Developers will receive subsidies and industrial mortgages

The Russian government will continue to work to ensure the country's technological sovereignty, as this is one of the key areas. Support measures for production will be implemented until 2030. This was announced by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, appointed by President Vladimir Putin on May 10.

What support measures are planned:

  • investment program
  • support through the Industrial Development Fund
  • industrial mortgage
  • subsidies for research and development work
  • agreements on the protection and promotion of capital investments
  • special investment contracts
It is expected that the gross added value of manufacturing industries will increase by 40% in six years. These are new jobs.

The government's press service added that projects in priority sectors will help make the economy sustainable. These include radio electronics, machine tool industry, medical equipment, low-tonnage chemistry, UAVs, space and nuclear industries, new energy technologies, and food security.

By 2030, the share of Russian high-tech goods and services will increase by 1.5 times. Putin set the task of reducing imports to a level of no more than 17% of GDP. Also, in six years, investments from the state and business should reach 2% of GDP.
