Russians are actively buying Solaris cars. 998 cars were sold in April. Buyers are not embarrassed by the prices, some metropolitan dealers sell cars for hundreds of thousands more than the manufacturer recommended.
In one of the Moscow dealerships, Solaris HS — renamed Hyundai Solaris — in the Active Plus configuration with a 1.6-liter engine and automatic transmission is sold for 1.15 million rubles. The cost of the car is 131 thousand rubles more than the manufacturer's recommended price. The same dealer offers a car in the Comfort configuration for purchase for 2.025 million rubles. In this case, the recommended cost is exceeded by 325 thousand rubles.
Things are no better with Solaris HС — Hyundai Creta. In the Lifestyle configuration, one of the dealers in Moscow offers a car with a manual transmission for purchase for 2.816 million rubles, although its recommended price is 2.64 million rubles.
Despite these prices, cars are being bought up by Russians and dealers complain about a shortage of cars. They emphasize that there are a lot of requests for cars.

Note that the most popular model in the Solaris line remains the HS. 807 cars were sold in April. The HС model was purchased in the amount of 78 units, KRX (Kia Rio X-Line) — 68, KRS (Rio) — 45 units. Since the beginning of the year, 1164 Solaris brand cars have been sold. The cars are assembled at the AGR plant in St. Petersburg.
