Chery запустила отзывную кампанию из-за проблем с полным приводом

Reducers and software will be replaced on Tiggo 8 Pro Max vehicles

Chinese company Chery announced on April 29 the start of a service campaign to address all-wheel drive issues in Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max vehicles. The cars are having their reducers replaced and software updated.

They replaced the reducer and today the firmware 04.02.03, everything is fine, no hum. I haven't tested the all-wheel drive yet, but it feels like it drives better.

It is worth recalling that the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max was originally equipped with ZF and BorgWarner all-wheel drive couplings, but from the second half of 2023, the manufacturer installed a coupling from the Chinese company Faps.

After that, problems arose — the rear wheels did not engage, and the car remained front-wheel drive. Dealers tried to solve the problem by flashing the control unit. This operation helped some, while others complained of vibration and hum.
