The KMZ ("Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant") military-industrial holding has signed contracts to supply 300 boats to Russian security forces over three years, said Mikhail Danilenko, managing director of the company.

We are talking about patrol boats for the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Russian National Guard, and the FSB of Russia. According to Danilenko, the volume of orders under the contracts approached 300 units, and its total cost will reach 3 billion rubles.

Danilenko emphasized that the rise of shipbuilding has begun in Russia, including small-sized vessels.

In 2023, KMZ supplied the Russian National Guard with 6 "Afalina" boats, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations with 42 PK-500 boats. According to the plan for the current year, the holding will build 150 boats for Russian security agencies.

Earlier, the PK-500 was shown at an exhibition in St. Petersburg, the boat attracted the attention of security forces from Asian and African countries.
