In St. Petersburg, shipbuilders of PJSC "Almaz Shipbuilding Firm" launched the "Kavkaz" 3rd rank patrol ship of the modified project 10410 (code "Svetlyak"). The vessel was built for the Border Service of the FSB of Russia.
The construction of ships of project 10410 began in 2016. At that time, the FSB of Russia ordered 2 vessels from JSC "Vostochnaya Verf", one from PJSC "Yaroslavl Shipbuilding Plant" and one more from PJSC "Almaz Shipbuilding Firm".
Prior to this, patrol ships of projects 10410 and 10410B were built from 1988 to 2015. In total, shipbuilders built 33 vessels. Most of them were transferred to border guards, only 7 to customers from Vietnam and Slovenia.
Features of the "Kavkaz" patrol ship:

- artillery armament: 76-mm AK-176MA and 30-mm AK-630
It was previously reported that "Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant" signed contracts for the supply of 300 patrol boats.
