A rehearsal for the Victory Day parade took place in Moscow on May 2. Residents and guests of the city watched the air show and a huge tricolor in the sky. They shared photos of the impressive sight on social networks.
The Russian national flag over Red Square was created by the crews of Su-27 and Su-25. Traditionally, military transport, operational-tactical aircraft, long-range aviation aircraft and combat helicopters take part in the parade.
Today, from 16:30 to 19:00, traffic was blocked on the Garden Ring and Taganskaya Square, as well as a section of Volgogradsky Prospekt.
From 22:30, traffic will be restricted in sections of the Garden Ring, Novy Arbat, and Bolshoy Kamenny Bridge. From 23:30, traffic will be suspended in sections of the Garden Ring and Volgogradsky Prospekt.
Last time, the parade rehearsal took place on April 26. The general rehearsal is scheduled for May 5.
