Pilots of two Il-38N anti-submarine aircraft of the Pacific Fleet's naval aviation performed scheduled flights over the Sea of Okhotsk. During the maneuvers, they searched for submarines of a mock enemy.
The fleet's press service explained that the crews practiced searching for and tracking submarines using radar and sonar systems. In addition, the Il-38N pilots transmitted target data to Pacific Fleet ships at sea.
