Инженеры из Грозного создали недорогой компактный детектор дронов

Similar foreign-made devices cost around 150 thousand rubles

Engineers from the Grozny State Oil Technical University named after Academician M. D. Millionshchikov have created a budget-friendly drone detector. This news was shared with TASS by Ibragim Elsaev, an engineer at the High Technology Park of GSOTU.

According to Ibragim Elsaev, the idea to create a budget drone detector belongs to one of the rectors of GSOTU. Foreign analogues of this type cost about 150 thousand rubles.

The device can be placed on clothing, it detects drones within a radius of up to 2 km from a person and notifies about it. We made it cheaper and more convenient than foreign analogues - the foreign analogue requires a separate charger, a remote antenna and an electronics unit. In terms of price-quality ratio, our development will be the best offer on the market.

It was additionally noted that "the developers plan to improve the model, making it more accurate".

Earlier it was noted that Chechen developers from KB "Tallamho" added a new option to the acoustic drone detector "Malik".
