Дуров заявил, что Цукерберг пытался присвоить себе его идеи

Pavel Durov shared memories of meeting Mark Zuckerberg

In his interview with Tucker Carlson, Pavel Durov shared some interesting moments from his conversation with Mark Zuckerberg. It turned out that the founder of the social network Facebook (banned in Russia) was not averse to borrowing ideas from the Russian programmer and founding father of VKontakte.

The meeting of the two famous developers took place 10 years ago. According to Pavel Durov, it was obvious that Zuckerberg was testing the waters, trying to appropriate other people's ideas.

It was an interesting meeting. They tried to copy not what we did, but what I said we did. It was funny.

Mark Zuckerberg asked Durov if he was planning to go global. But he received a negative answer. Durov asked a similar question regarding the development of the Russian market. However, Zuckerberg assured him that there were no such plans.

Two or three weeks later, each of us did just that.

Pavel Durov now lives in Dubai. He does not plan to work in the United States due to the close attention of the special services to his work and employees.

The idea to create the Telegram messenger came to the Russian programmer while still in Russia. Pavel Durov started its implementation after selling his stake in the VKontakte project.

The entrepreneur plans to continue developing Telegram. Durov said that in a year the messenger's audience will exceed 1 billion.
