The first unmanned tractor, BELARUS 3523i, was created in Belarus at the production facilities of MTZ (Minsk Tractor Works).
Currently, BELARUS 3523i is in the stage of refinement and improvement. Specialists from Brest State Technical University are working on this. The creation of software for the unmanned tractor was entrusted to the company "Industrial Robotics and Digital Engineering."
The driverless tractor will be equipped with functions for recognizing static and moving objects. This will allow agricultural work to be carried out with complete safety.
In 2023, unmanned models of "Kirovets" tractors, manufactured in St. Petersburg, were tested in Russia. The first field campaign allowed farmers to reduce costs by 30%.
