The InterAgroTech Association of Agricultural Producers and Industrialists presented a report on the results of the first agricultural campaign, which was carried out using Kirovets unmanned tractors (produced by the St. Petersburg Tractor Plant, PTZ).
Autonomous Cognitive Agro Pilot systems (developed by the Russian company Cognitive Pilot - note by www1.ru editor), installed on tractors, helped farmers save almost 30% of all costs for fuel and lubricants, plant protection products, fertilizers and planting material. Farms noted that Kirovets tractors were especially effective in sowing operations (seed savings amounted to 35%).
Tractors were involved in 17 enterprises from 6 regions of Russia. The benefit from using one tractor averaged 2.6 million rubles per year (with a field area of 1000 hectares and a width of mounted implements on the tractor of 5 m).
In 2024, PTZ plans to increase the production of Kirovets tractors to 1 thousand units. Cognitive Agro Pilot unmanned systems will be installed both on tractors previously produced by the St. Petersburg enterprise, and on equipment from other manufacturers.
