Rostec is doing everything to ensure that the new 2S38 Derivation-PVO anti-aircraft gun system reaches the troops as soon as possible. This was stated by Bekhan Ozdoev, industrial director of the corporation's cluster of weapons and ammunition.
According to him, the engineers completed the development of the "Derivation-PVO" last year. The complex has advanced combat characteristics, and also provides reliable protection for personnel.
The complex is designed to engage:
- drones of various types
- air-to-surface missiles
- tactical aviation
- fire support helicopters
"Derivation-PVO" is the only anti-aircraft system in the world (only Russia has it) that hits aerial targets with 57-mm guns. It is also equipped with artillery fire control equipment.

- rate of fire — 120 rounds per minute
- firing range — up to 6 km
