Su-34 frontline bombers were sent to the Russian Aerospace Forces as part of the state defense order. The aircraft were assembled at the Chkalov Novosibirsk Aviation Plant. This is the first batch in 2024 sent to the customer (Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation).
The Su-34s are an important part of the strike power of Russian aviation. Engineers have provided the ability to use advanced aviation weapons. The aircraft also has an increased range of target engagement and improved bombing accuracy.
According to UAC General Director Yuri Slyusar, all factories fulfilling the state defense order are maintaining production rates.

The UAC press service added that the Chkalov Aviation Plant is loaded with work on promising projects and as part of the state defense order. In 2024, the company's management plans to expand the staff, recruiting more than 1,000 workers and engineers. In addition, a new stage of production modernization is expected.
Earlier it became known that the Su-34s began to use bombs with a universal module for planning and correction (UMPC). Their effectiveness was noted in the foreign publication The Military Watch.
