The Center for Integrated Unmanned Solutions (TsKBR) has developed a new FPV drone "Khrust" for operation in disaster conditions with chemical or radiation contamination. This is one of the civilian projects of TsKBR.
As Dmitry Kuzyakin, CEO of TsKBR, said in an interview with RIA Novosti, this drone is among the civilian developments.
The drone is equipped with a radioactivity or gas contamination sensor necessary for the situation, and the pilot, receiving information from the sensor online, flies around the territory, including buildings, understanding where the contamination is stronger.
According to him, there are already many interested parties in "Khrust", but there are no firm contracts for its supply yet.
The first public mentions of "Khrust" were last November. It was then announced that "Khrust" can also be used to monitor the state border, inspect fishing vessels, and monitor bridges and crossings.
