Russian military personnel will receive up to 2,000 Brus-1 FPV drones by the end of 2024, which are designed to destroy enemy strongholds and armored vehicles.
According to a representative of the developing company, one of the orders was for 1,000 units. But the Russian Armed Forces expect a batch twice as large during the year. In total, 3,500 Brus-1 drones have been sent to the troops since 2022.
Technical characteristics of the Brus-1 drone:
- Payload weight — up to 2 kg
- Flight altitude — up to 1 km
- Cruising speed — 60 km/h
- Ability to hit an object at a distance of up to 7 km
- Resistant to most electronic warfare systems
Russian military personnel use the Brus-1 to attack strong points, tanks, armored personnel carriers, and howitzers of the enemy.
