The first SIM cards with the domestic operating system Simart Mi.Н are being introduced in Russia.
The SIM cards, developed by Novacard from Nizhny Novgorod, have already been purchased by the mobile operator MTS. The cards have already undergone thorough testing by specialists from both companies.
Novacard told IA TASS that "until recently, all SIM cards produced for Russia were based on foreign components and technologies." But Simart Mi.Н is a completely Russian development, which is confirmed by the inclusion of the OS in the unified register of Russian programs for computers and databases.
Simart Mi.Н also supports both international and domestic algorithms for authenticating subscribers in mobile networks.
