Бомба-обманка: стало известно, как российский беспилотник «Черника-1» уничтожает врага

Delayed detonation of the UAV charge helps the Russian military fight the enemy

Since 2022, Russian military personnel have received more than 7,000 "flying wing" type drones "Chernika-1", designed to engage manpower. The drones were supplied together with a specialized charge.

Technical characteristics of the "Chernika-1" drone

  • Flight range — up to 80 km one way
  • Flight altitude — 1.5 thousand m
  • Cruising speed — 75 km/h
  • Payload weight — up to 0.7 kg
  • Radius of destruction of a special charge with explosive elements — 20 m
  • Launched from a catapult or by hand

The special charge of the "Chernika-1" drone is triggered upon collision with the enemy or with the ground. During takeoff, the detonation is disabled, it is activated later. Delayed or remote detonation helps to carry out the combat task of destroying the enemy.

According to a representative of the development company, "Chernika-1" flies up to the enemy, but its charge does not detonate. An inexperienced fighter can take the drone for a trophy and take it with him to the dugout. There, the charge is activated and hits the enemy. Thus, "Chernika-1" works as a decoy bomb.
