Russian citizens will be able to check into hotels and other accommodations using biometric identification from the second half of 2024. This was stated by a source in the office of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko.
The resolution has been approved by the government. Check-in using biometrics will greatly simplify the procedure

- Sanatorium
- Holiday home
- Boarding house
- Camping
- Tourist base
Currently, tourists have to present their passport at the front desk. Biometrics will be a convenient alternative to this method.
To get a key to your room, you can register yourself using a tablet or self-service terminal
The service will be available to citizens who have submitted biometric data. This can be done at 12,000 bank branches throughout Russia.
