GC "Beshtau" is preparing to launch a plant for the production of domestic boards for electronics in Rostov-on-Don. It will produce boards of the fourth, fifth and sixth classes of accuracy.
As the General Director of GC "Beshtau" Oleg Osipov said in an interview with the business media "Expert Yug", the first building of the plant will be commissioned by the end of March. The plant will be fully completed by the end of the year.
At the moment, we are waiting for the completion of the construction of the plant. It is important to say that this will be the first Russian line for the production of printed circuit boards in 30 years, where domestic equipment is used. It will be 70 percent provided with Russian raw materials and 70 percent with Russian chemistry. That is, it is a deeply localized product. Our goal is to bring each product to an economically viable deeep localization.
The March first stage of the plant will allow "Beshtau" to "produce two to three times more products", and the new plant itself will make it possible to produce "about 600-700 thousand boards and about half a million products".
Earlier it became known that in 2025 in Rostov-on-Don "Beshtau" will launch the first plant in Russia, where laptops will be manufactured, consisting of components of its own Russian production.
First of all, boards, monitors and laptops "Beshtau" will go not to stores, but to government agencies. The manufacturer also has experience in entering the open free market. But the amount of products for ordinary customers has been reduced to the maximum: it is necessary to help the public sector.
The need of the public sector is a priority today, the shortage here is much greater, and competition is lower. A lot of state-owned companies have fallen under sanctions, foreign companies refuse to sell them the equipment that is necessary for work. If you as a private person can go to the store and buy any laptop, monitor or system unit, then if you are a state-owned company, you are obliged first of all to purchase Russian products.
The price range will be acceptable, somewhere even cheaper than foreign analogues, since logistics and other costs are removed during localization. There is also a domestic innovation in the boards of this manufacturer, which does not affect the quality of the product, but affects its price.
Any foreign analogue is inexpensive boards, but they are still made in six layers. And we do it in four layers, and technologically the production of a solid printed circuit board costs us less. And functionally it is the same board, the same ports. This is our innovative solution.
In addition to the separate technology for the production of printed circuit boards, "Beshtau" now, according to Osipov, has another unique development related to the production of laptops and computers. This is the only company in the world that makes a completely plastic case for a system unit from its own insulating material (compound).
