«Росатом» разработал свою портативную систему обнаружения БПЛА «Дружинник»

It quickly detects threats to platoon strongholds, industrial facilities, and buildings

The Rosatom State Corporation has developed and for the first time presented to the world a portable unmanned aerial vehicle detection system called "Druzhinnik".

According to IA "TASS", the presentation took place at the "Robotics and Artificial Intelligence" exhibition in Moscow. The system is capable of detecting an object at a distance of up to 5 km, and its low directivity in the range of 15-30 degrees allows determining the direction of the drone's flight.

"Druzhinnik" weighing 1.8 kg can:

  • work alone for radio reconnaissance in the field, as well as part of complexes and technical systems;
  • be used as part of mobile teams for searching and suppressing drones and sources of electronic warfare;
  • serve as part of a stationary protection system for platoon strongholds, industrial facilities, and buildings with the system installed on a bracket.

It detects drone instances on all known frequencies: from 600 MHz to 6,000 MHz, plus on any non-standard frequencies in the specified range.
