Employees of the Sevmash subsidiary of USC, SPO Arktika, have manufactured the first batch of equipment for Russian military drones.
It is noted that the military had previously asked residents of the Arkhangelsk region to assist in 3D printing elements of the equipment.
Using engineering knowledge and many years of experience, the specialists of the electrical installation company improved their design to increase efficiency. The work was carried out on their own initiative, at their own expense, and in their free time.
The designs from Arktika are being prepared for testing, after which they will be sent to customers.
The first batch of updated equipment for combat UAVs was sent to the leadership of the regional veterans' organization of the Russian National Guard and the Northern District Cossack Society. The organizations closely cooperate with the coastal troops unit of the Russian Navy, which is part of the Northern Fleet.
