Russian manufacturers continue to work on reducing the dependence of their companies on foreign components. Another step in this direction was the recently launched Kraft Technology plant for the production of refrigeration equipment in Donetsk. The opening ceremony of the enterprise was attended by the governor of the region, Vasily Golubev. The politician noted that refrigeration equipment will be in demand not only in the Don region, but throughout Russia.
About 1 billion rubles were invested in the enterprise. It is planned that the plant's facilities will produce up to 100 thousand devices per year. The plant will provide 150 new jobs in the region.
The head of Kraft Technology, Yuri Lebedinsky, said that the company continues its development. He noted the assistance of the regional government: they have access to regional and local level benefits. It is worth noting that the company is a resident of the "Donetsk" advanced development territory. This status allows the company to attract residents and create additional preferences for them.
This is not the only enterprise that has opened in the region this year. So, in early March, Rostselmash launched a full-cycle plant for the production of tractors. This is the first such enterprise in our country in the last 52 years.
