The Cheboksary Plant of Power Aggregates (ChZSA) has announced an important event in the domestic industry — the successful launch of production of new drive axles for SILANT diesel forklifts. These axles have a lifting capacity of 3.5 to 5.0 tons. ChZSA's development has no analogues in the Russian market yet.
Previously, Russian manufacturers of equipment with a permissible axle load of up to 20 tons were forced to use imported analogues. However, in light of recent events, such supplies have completely ceased, leaving the Russian market without an alternative.
The launch of production of drive axles developed by ChZSA is an important step forward in the development of small-sized equipment. They can be used to equip not only SILANT loaders, but also can be successfully used in various fields, such as front loaders, graders and road construction equipment, which makes ChZSA's development in demand and promising for other market participants.
A special feature of the new axles is the use of multi-disc working and parking brakes in an oil bath, which allows them to provide a high degree of protection against external influences and a long service life without the need for constant maintenance.
ChZSA's plans for the future are ambitious: by 2027, they plan to produce about 2 thousand axles annually, half of which will be intended for the domestic market, and the rest for export.
