Chechen engineers from the "Tallamho" Design Bureau have developed the BUKh1a ("Owl") acoustic reconnaissance system, which is a cheap analogue of the "Penicillin" complex. The new device has been delivered to Russian military personnel.
According to a representative of the Design Bureau, specialists are already preparing the second generation of the BUKh2 complex. This involves a product for detecting targets at long distances using different physical principles.
We want to make the enemy's artillery and armored vehicles vulnerable
It is specified that the audio background during combat operations is very different. The test application of BUKh1 showed that the equipment copes with the identification of enemy military equipment. BUKh1a receives and processes acoustic waves from shots and explosions. The complex is capable of performing tasks at a distance of up to 7 km.
