Российские беспилотные электрогрузовики начали работать на нефтехимиков

Evocargo transports up to two tons of polymers and other products at a time

Sibur's subsidiary, Tomskneftekhim, has begun using the first Evocargo N1 unmanned electric truck at its enterprise to transport goods around the territory. Previously, this type of transport was already used by Tatneft and Gazpromneft-Snabzhenie.

In one trip, the N1 can transport up to two tons of polymers around the enterprise, and between charges it travels up to 150-200 km. The truck moves along a route specified by the operator, orienting itself in space thanks to a multi-sensor system based on machine learning algorithms. It determines the position of the machine, calculates a safe trajectory and speed.

When driving, Evocargo N1 complies with traffic rules, takes into account road signs and markings, pedestrian crossings, sidewalks and other infrastructure features. The truck can only accelerate up to 20 km/h, but it charges quickly, in just 40 minutes.
