The main feature of the Triton is the preservation of buoyancy when jumping into the water from a low cliff. At the same time, there is no threat to the engine. Its carrying capacity on water is up to 1.5 tons, on land - 1 ton.

It is expected that the amphibious all-terrain vehicle will be affordable: 2.4 million rubles when equipped with an internal combustion engine and 2.9 million rubles with a diesel engine. According to Bagdasarov, one armored personnel carrier is comparable in price to 10 Tritons.

Specialists are currently assembling a prototype. Its tests will begin in late spring - early summer 2024.

It was previously reported about tests of the latest BTR-22.
