Ruselectronics (part of Rostec) has completed testing of the "Syuzhet-MF" complex, which is capable of receiving information from hydrometeorological satellites, the corporation's press service reported.
"Syuzhet-MF" processes the received data, calculating the Earth's surface temperature, cloud boundary height, type of precipitation, and soil moisture content. Ruselectronics plans to establish mass production of such meteorological complexes.
Unlike its predecessors, "Syuzhet-MF" can interact with automated special-purpose control systems. The complex is manufactured in two versions: stationary and portable.
The first products will be transferred to the Russian Ministry of Defense this year. It is expected that their use by the military will improve the quality of meteorological reconnaissance.
It was previously reported that Ruselectronics increased the production of synchronous motors, which are used in many industries, including for the creation of drones.
