Fire all-terrain vehicles will be added to fire trucks in Russia - they are being developed on the basis of the "Predator" snow and swamp-going vehicle from "МЕГ ВЕСТ". Recently, President Vladimir Putin personally rode on such a snow and swamp-going vehicle along the Chukotka winter road.
According to Maxim Mezenin, director of the company, told to IA "ТАСС", the idea of developing a fire all-terrain vehicle belongs to the Governor of the Tyumen Region Alexander Moor. The all-terrain vehicle based on the snow and swamp-going vehicle will be able to get to water bodies in the most inaccessible places. Thanks to the pump, it will supply water either to a fire truck or directly to extinguish the fire. The first model will be presented in the summer, it will be as import-independent as possible.
In addition to promising fire all-terrain vehicles, Russian rescuers and firefighters are waiting for domestic developments in the form of fire drones. They are designed both for elimination of forest fires, and for work in megacities against fires in high-rise buildings.
