Российское противодронное ружье «Айрат-100» модернизировали

The manufacturers of the Russian anti-drone gun "Ayrat-100" have announced its upgrade.

The developer company 3MX will complete the release of the third version by the end of the month, its representatives told RT. "Ayrat-100" will not only go to the Russian troops, but will also be sold to protect facilities that need defense against drones.

Some of the characteristics of the anti-drone gun remain a trade secret. But it is known that the updated version of "Ayrat-100" will receive a more bulky body and an improved antenna unit - it provides more efficient operation at various frequencies. Officially, five of them have now been announced.

It is also known that "Ayrat-100" now has an increased cooling fin area. This allows you to neutralize drones for a longer time and cool down faster after load and working on targets.

The updated version has three own batteries, each with a capacity of 28V, and a consumption of 5A/h. According to the announced data, "Ayrat-100" after the upgrade will be able to work without recharging for 45-50 minutes at a distance of more than 1.5 km.

In addition to this model, over the past few years in Russia, more than five anti-drone guns have been developed for the needs of the military and the protection of civilian and industrial facilities from drone intrusion with various purposes.

These are, for example, several versions of "Argus-Antidron" from NPO "Kaysant" of different weights and ranges, which hit seven main frequencies for commercial UAVs, fixed-wing drones and FPV drones. The Chelyabinsk electromagnetic "Dronoboy", capable of jamming several frequencies, is also actively used. You can also purchase "Harpy" from "SpetsTekhKonsalting".

This is an anti-drone gun for five radio frequencies, which can simultaneously suppress the signal on all selected communication channels. The range of the "Harpy" extends up to 2 kilometers, and the lithium-ion battery can work for a maximum of 40-60 minutes.
