The warhead of the previous version of the air-launched missile is 450 kg. Shoigu ordered that there should be enough of these missiles. He stated about the high consumption of air-launched missiles by the pilots of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
One of the aircraft that are equipped with such missiles is the Su-34 fighter-bomber. Its armament includes air bombs of various calibers, unguided air missiles (S-8, S-13, S-25), guided missiles (X-25, X-58), as well as R-73 short-range missiles.
