The «Uralkriomash» tank with a capacity of at least 85 cubic meters can be operated at temperatures from –60 to +50 °C. The internal elements in contact with its contents are neutral and do not affect the quality of the fuel. The tank cars have already passed the necessary tests at Vostochny.

These cars are planned to transport naphthyl fuel, which is used for the Angara-A5 heavy-class carrier rocket. Naphthyl is an environmentally friendly type of hydrocarbon fuel with polymer additives. Experts also emphasize that naphthyl is more efficient compared to kerosene.

Earlier, a railway echelon arrived in the Amur Region, delivering two Soyuz-2 rockets to Vostochny.
