Engineers from the Novosibirsk company "Experimental Design Bureau" (OKB) tested the drone with two Kor-112 engines "Night Bird - 2". The drone was launched at a temperature of -37 degrees.
The "Night Bird - 2" weighing 21.5 kg can rise to a height of 6 km and travel at 215 km/h. The drone's payload is 13.5 kg.
Due to the fact that the Kor-112 has two engines, if one of them breaks down, it can complete the route on the second. According to representatives of the OKB, the "Night Bird - 2" can be repaired in the field.
The drone was created for observation and cargo delivery. The Kor-112 has a cargo compartment 620 mm long, 160 mm high and 360 mm wide, where photo and video recording equipment can be installed.
Earlier, Rostec reported that mini-drones will be included in the equipment of the third generation "Legionnaire".
