A review test of the new Lada Aura sedan has appeared on YouTube, which has already begun to be ordered for their employees in the Ministry of Finance.
The editor-in-chief of the "Behind the Wheel" resource, Maxim Kadakov, drove the car on the new M-12 highway, and told and showed what awaits the buyer of the new AvtoVAZ product.
From a design point of view, the Lada Aura is a Lada Vesta lengthened by 250 mm. But the production model will be slightly different - there will be more elongated floor, roof and door panels without welds. The interior has greater sound insulation from internal sounds.
Under the hood, you can see gas struts, a modernized 1.8 Evo engine (VAZ-21179) with 122 hp, 170 Nm of torque and a CVT, which was developed by Chinese Chery. Now such CVTs with seven fixed quasi-gears are produced by the Chinese WanLiYang (WLY).
The interior trim and seats are made of genuine leather of domestic production and dressing. It has leather trim and a heated steering wheel - it is also two-tone. The control system is displayed on a digital panel.
Inside, the passenger is greeted by heated seats and a new headrest shape for long trips. Under the feet - convenient air ducts, elongated in comparison with the Lada Vesta. For comfort on the road and charging gadgets - two USB connectors and a 12 volt socket are available.
