"Volga" will have a modern design, but the logo will remain the same. This is how the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov, commented on the question of what the car will look like after the restart of production in Nizhny Novgorod.
According to him, a foreign manufacturer has become the technological partner of the GAZ group. The agreement between them is now in its final stage.
Work has been underway since May 2023, so we assume that the production of "Volga" will begin in mid-2024
He promised that the car would have a modern look, but fans of the brand would recognize some classic features in it. For example, the radiator grille will resemble the legendary "Volga". It is expected that in the future all components for "Volga" will be localized.
