Off-road vehicle and quad bike manufacturers from "Baikal 4x4" have developed an experimental model of the first Russian all-terrain vehicle with a 6x6 wheel arrangement called "Perelomka".
The prototype all-terrain vehicle lifts almost two tons. It is suitable for agriculture, nature reserves, tourism and industry, and even for scientific expeditions.
According to Alexander Chubakov, head of the manufacturing company, the new product will overcome both water obstacles and mud obstacles: there will soon be a test drive on social networks and a detailed review. In the summer, the all-terrain vehicle will go on its first expedition to Mongolia, and then, together with the Russian Geographical Society, it will travel to the remote Yakut village of Tiksi.
Although the technical characteristics and additional options of the new all-terrain vehicle are still unclear, it is obvious that you should expect a lot in terms of comfort and endurance, based on the company's previous models. For example, "Baikal 4x4" already has another all-terrain vehicle called "Perelomka", which the company presented more than a year and a half ago. It lifts up to 600 kg and has a capacity of up to 8 people. It is noteworthy that the client can assemble his own all-terrain vehicle like a constructor - the following are offered to choose from:
- three engine options in terms of power: TOYOTA 2NZ 88hp at 1.3V, TOYOTA 1NZ at 109hp and 1.5V and TOYOTA 1ZZ at 145hp and 1.8V;
- two suspension options: with rear suspension for passenger comfort or without suspension, but with maximum cross-country ability;
- four types of tubeless tires - "Ural Lapot 1100*500", "NORTEC 1200*600", "Trekol" or "Avtoros".
The equipment is supplemented at the client's request with a windshield or visor with a windshield, a Lite version cab, a removable frame for a cab awning with glass, an awning for the cab, a removable frame for an awning (body), a tented body, a Lite van, soft seats in the body and a stove - either in the cab or in the body.
Passability is added by an electric removable winch, a self-locking front axle differential, a canister with a 20-liter mount, a removable tow bar, a UAZ Spicer axle with electronic locking and additional engine protection.
Documentarily, the owner of such an all-terrain vehicle receives a passport for sports equipment, a passenger car trailer for transporting the all-terrain vehicle (electronic PTS) category B and a passport for a self-propelled machine.
