Aurus will begin production of a new line of business-class cars that will be more affordable compared to the first models of the Russian brand, said the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov.
According to the minister, we are talking about the S and E-class lines. Sales of new Aurus cars will start in 2025.

At the same time, the representative of the ministry did not specify what amounts were being discussed. He only added that in the future an SUV will be added to the "affordable" line.
Recall that Aurus produces luxury cars. In 2021, the brand released the Senat sedan, its price starts from 36 million rubles. In 2022, sales of the Komendant SUV began for 33.7 million rubles.
Russian officials are massively abandoning foreign cars in favor of domestic ones. Valentina Matvienko, Speaker of the Federation Council, and Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of Tatarstan, have already switched to Aurus.
