Western countries have nothing to counter the Avangard missile system, which is capable of hitting many targets around the world in 30 minutes. This was written by the British newspaper The Mirror.
The media emphasized that the missiles launched by Avangard reach their targets at a speed 27 times the speed of sound. To do this, the complex with a hypersonic gliding unit goes beyond the Earth's atmosphere. The Mirror also published footage of the complex distributed by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Information about Avangard appeared in March 2018. At the same time, mass production of complexes began, which, in addition to the winged unit, also includes UR-100N UTTH missiles (SS-19 Stiletto according to NATO classification - note from the editors of www1.ru).
