In 2022, the Moscow region became the leader among Russian regions in the number of robots in industrial enterprises.
According to the National Association of Robotics Market Participants, 79 companies have integrated machines into their work. As clarified in the government of the Moscow region, robots are actively being introduced into food production and metallurgy.
For example, in Kashira, the meat products manufacturer "Cherkizovo" works with a minimum of specialists. In Orekhovo-Zuevo, the Tonar machine-building plant has increased the throughput of trailer assembly shops thanks to robotic systems.
The direction of logistics robotics is also developing in Russia. "Yandex" has developed two types of warehouse robots that move pallets with goods and conduct inventory. Such robots work effectively in low temperature conditions.
