The "High-Precision Systems" holding, part of Rostec, has completed the state defense order for anti-tank guided missiles for the Kornet ATGM for 2023 ahead of schedule, the holding's press service reported.
It is noted that the Kornet is the best in the world in its class in terms of key characteristics. At the same time, engineers continue to develop the platform. In particular, the range of the ATGM has been increased due to the warhead of the ammunition and new firing modes.
The Kornet bypasses countermeasures, and also copes with dynamic protection and armor of enemy equipment up to 1300 mm thick. In real combat operations, it strikes Leopard tanks, Challenger tanks, and Bradley IFVs. S
The complex has been adapted to any carrier: tracked or wheeled chassis with appropriate load capacity. The basic version of the Kornet-EM is placed on two telescopic masts with four missiles on each.
