The plane of Russian President Vladimir Putin landed at Abu Dhabi airport, escorted from Moscow to the end of the route by Su-35S fighters of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the fighters are carrying standard aviation weapons. The Su-35S flight, under the control of first-class pilots, was carried out from an operational airfield in heavy rain and wind.
According to the Kremlin, Putin arrived in the UAE for negotiations with the country's leadership. Later, he will go to Saudi Arabia. On the way to Riyadh, and from there to Moscow, he will again be escorted by Su-35S fighters.
