The Russian Kalashnikov Group (part of Rostec) fulfilled its obligations under the contract for the production of high-precision spindles (a shaft with right and left rotations - editor's note www1.ru) ahead of schedule. A batch of 26 spindles was sent to the customer - a large Russian holding.
The production of spindles, which are important components for industry, was mastered in Izhevsk in 2023. For 2024, the company has already received a package of new contracts. This confirms a twofold increase in production volumes.
In addition, Kalashnikov received contracts for the design and manufacture of ball screw drives. The plant also launched a section for overhaul and modernization of CNC equipment. The concern handed over the first batch, which included 5 machines.
Earlier, IMZ, which is part of the Kalashnikov Group, fulfilled the contract for the supply of a compact Lebedev pistol. More than 10 thousand units were sent to security forces.
