JSC "Izhevsk Mechanical Plant" (IMZ), which has been part of the "Kalashnikov" group since 2013, asserts its position as a leading manufacturer of modern weapons. The company has achieved significant success in fulfilling state contracts for the production of the Lebedev compact pistol (PLC). The plant reported the successful completion of deliveries of more than 10,000 units of PLC for the country's security agencies in 2023.
Managing Director of IMZ, Valentin Kargin, expressed confidence in the completion of state contracts for the production of PLC for 2024, emphasizing that the plant is fully provided with state orders for this device.

It is important to note that PLC has an under-barrel Picatinny rail for installing a flashlight, which makes it effective even in the dark. Currently, IMZ is also actively mastering the production of two more new products - the Lebedev modular pistol (MPL) and the 6P72 "Udav" pistol.
