One of the largest Russian software (SW) developers for the autonomous operation of agricultural machinery is Cognitive Pilot. Its software is installed on combine harvesters and tractors of "Gomselmash", St. Petersburg Tractor Plant (PTZ).

According to a report by the InterAgroTech Association, following the first agricultural company, unmanned vehicles, including Kirovets tractors (manufactured at PTZ), helped farms save about 30% on fertilizers, seeds, and fuel and lubricants.
