During the long weekend (November 4, 5, 6) in Russia, employees of the AvtoVAZ concern continue to work. On National Unity Day, about 400 Lada Niva SUVs were assembled at the plant.
An informed source reported that on November 4, line No. 3 of the AvtoVAZ main assembly line worked for nine hours. During the shift, almost 190 Niva Legend and about 200 Niva Travel vehicles rolled off it. It is noted that the concern's employees worked on previously assembled Lada Vesta and Lada Granta cars.
Apparently, AvtoVAZ does not plan to reduce production volumes, since there is demand for domestic cars among Russians. In November, the concern rewrote the price tags for its model range. The price increase also affected Niva Travel (+106 thousand rubles) and Niva Legend (+86 thousand rubles). At the same time, the company promises to keep the price of cars in the basic configuration.
